Small Business Security Survey
I have recently had a business security review by Falcon Personal Security. I was very pleased with the thoroughness of the business review and I was glad to find all the potential issues that I had never even considered. Dan Lanotte was very thorough and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Dan to anyone and everyone who is concerned about the safety of their personnel and customers and the building security of their establishments. Dan and Falcon Personal Security I feel is a very competent and reliable company. I would be glad to talk with anyone about my experience.
I would recommend and have recommended others to attend Dan Lanotte’s conceal carry course. He teaches a course that is clear and concise with emphasis on all the basics. Safety in handling and storing a weapon is always paramount. Dan does an excellent job in covering this topic. Currently, Dan also has a attorney address legal issues regarding conceal carry. The practical part of the course involving handling and shooting the weapon was at a first class indoor range. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.
The Basic Pistol Class taught by Falcon Personal Security was a great learning experience. I learned not only about using a pistol, but also about the importance of understanding my local laws about guns and the rules for concealed carry. The instructor taught well and made sure the class understood range safety and rules as well as the core material. After the class, I felt much more confident about my ability to protect myself if ever needed.
I recently attended a gun safety class instructed by Dan Lanotte. Having never handled a gun before this class gave me knowledge and confidence to safely handle a gun. I feel that Dan was extremely through and I would recommend this class to everyone before they handle a gun. I now feel more comfortable and confident handling a gun.
Very helpful, opened my eyes to more information than I would have thought about; most definitely worth the class
It was my pleasure to audit the Basic Pistol Class, while my three children attended his formal training program. I have been acquainted with many firearms training venues, while in and out of the United States Air Force, and this training exceeded my expectations for the class. His unique common sense approach to proficiency and safety, combined with his Subject Matter Expert contributor, Ric Morgan, Esq. on the legalities of concealed carry laws was exemplary. This venue for personal protection and safety has my highest recommendation. V/R
When I attended FPS’s church security training, my church’s program was still young. The training and legal expertise enabled my team to set a clearer path of growth, helping us to focus on strengthening our weaknesses. Dan and Ric provide unbeatable personal knowledge, experience, and time investment to each client. It was a privilege to work with men who view church security as more than an end; it’s a means to serving the Body of Christ and coming alongside pastors to protect the flock from wolves so they can focus on the health and growth of the flock.
I have been a shooter for over 30 years with extensive small arms experience. While serving in the US Marines, I qualified expert for 15 consecutive years with the service pistol, completed the FBI’s close combat pistol course, taught light, medium, and heavy machine guns, and certified as a Range Safety Officer (RSO). The Personal Protection in the Home course taught me many things I did not know – even with this background. Perhaps the most significant were the legal aspects of using a firearm to protect yourself. If you have a gun in your home, you cannot afford to not take this course.
Mr. Lanotte’s firearm training class really helped me refresh my knowledge and skills on firearms. The legal portion of the class really points out the need to understand the risks and need for clarity when carrying and using a gun. The day after the classroom work really aided me in understanding the proper grip and aim methods for improving my ability to hit the target. I would recommend his class to any and all.
I had a great experience with Dan’s Basic Pistol course. We got a comprehensive overview of everything from safety and gun handling to laws, tips for accurate shooting, things to consider when buying a gun, and more. In addition to the NRA’s course material, Dan brought in his own extensive personal experience and knowledge from being a gun enthusiast for years. Having a lawyer come and further explain gun laws made me very aware of what I can and cannot do in certain self-defense situations. The range time was great for one-on-one instruction and practice. I came out of the class feeling more comfortable around guns and ready to buy and practice with my own gun. I’d recommend this class for anyone interesting in learning how to shoot or needing to refresh their knowledge.
I took Dan’s Gun Safety Class several years ago and his presentation still sticks with me today. Heavy on the safety issues, Dan provides many hand-outs, “how-to’s”, and best practices for handling firearms responsibly. Additionally, Dan brings a licensed lawyer to the class who brings a highly informative, critical aspect of what the law requires of those that choose to carry as well as home defense. I highly recommend Dan to provide you with the required instruction for a concealed carry permit application and home defense needs. (Like my high school football coach said, “We may not be big, but we’re slow.”)
As a long-time gun lover, owner, user, and CCW (carrying a concealed weapon) permit holder, I wanted my wife and daughter to benefit from some formal handgun training. My long-term goal was to encourage both to use the training to determine whether or not they wanted to pursue also having a CCW permit. I enrolled my wife and I in Dan’s Falcon Personal Security Firearms Instruction course. And, yes, even though I had a fair amount of weapons experience, I opted to attend the class with the thought in mind that a person can never “know” too much about a subject. In the interest of disclosure, Dan and I had worked together for some time and I knew Dan fairly well. I was very confident the instruction would be a reflection of the meticulous person I saw in Dan. The instruction was concise, informative, and was a nice balance of weapons and “people” information. Adding in the legal aspects, with thought provoking information provided by a lawyer, and this was one of the best weapons or security courses I’ve ever attended. And, yes, my wife is now going forward with her plan of obtaining a CCW! Thanks, Dan!!
